My elementary school principal always told me that one must say something nice or nothing at all. He also told me that I should be aware of the “pal” in “principal.” It appears that Principal Skinner is a better pal than my sweet-talking principal of yore. Oh, yeah, and new media is scares the crap out of print reporters. Be kind to them–they’re people, too.

Perhaps Principal Skinner and your principal of yore should speak to this principal (http://www.wltx.com/news/story.aspx?storyid=59791) who sent home a festive teacher on St. Patrick’s Day for dyeing his hair green. There was certainly no pal in that principal.
